The green-marked cycle route No. 5439 leads from Oravská Lesná to Tanečník, the starting point of the Orava Forest Railway, before continuing through the landscape of the Orava Beskids. The 7 km route connects two points on the Orava Cycle Route No. 006. It starts in Oravská Lesná at a junction with the Orava Cycle Route and follows an asphalt forest road towards Tanečník. This is where the station of the Orava Forest Railway is located, one of the major visitor attractions in this part of Orava. Beyond Tanečník, the asphalt gives way to a gravel surface. The route then climbs gently towards the Kubínska area, where it ends by reconnecting with the Orava Cycle Route. Combining asphalt and paved roads, the route is suitable for mountain bikes. It can be enjoyed as a shorter cycling trip to the Orava Forest Railway or combined with other cycle routes around Oravská Lesná.
